The Three Compounds
Semax
Focus & BDNF Upregulation
ACTH-derived heptapeptide developed in Russia. Upregulates BDNF, promotes dopaminergic activity, and enhances working memory and sustained attention. Used intranasally for CNS bioavailability.
Selank
Anxiolytic & Stress Resilience
Tuftsin-derived peptide. Reduces anxiety without sedation, modulates GABAergic activity, and promotes adaptive stress responses. Often cycled with Semax for a balanced cognitive + calm profile.
Dihexa
Synaptic Density & Neurogenesis
HGF/c-Met agonist. The most potent BDNF-enhancing compound known — estimated 10 million times more potent than BDNF itself. Run in 4-week intensive courses only twice yearly due to its persistent effects.
Protocol Approach

Semax and Selank are run in alternating 8-week cycles throughout the year, with 4-week breaks between cycles to maintain receptor sensitivity. They are often taken in the morning — Semax for its dopaminergic and focus-promoting effects, Selank for managing the cognitive load of demanding work periods.

Dihexa is treated differently. Its effects on synaptic density are long-lasting and cumulative. It is used only twice per year in 4-week courses (February and September in the default calendar), not continuously. Running it too frequently or for extended periods is not recommended given the limited human data.

Important Notes

All three compounds are administered intranasally or orally — no injections required. Blood work for this stack is optional but a cognitive function baseline test (if available) and BDNF blood test can be useful for tracking individual response. Start Semax and Selank first and establish tolerability before adding Dihexa.
