Connective Tissue Is the Limiting Factor

In strength sports, connective tissue — tendons, ligaments, and joint capsules — is the rate-limiting factor for performance progression. Muscle adapts faster than connective tissue, meaning training loads that are appropriate for muscle can be excessive for tendons. BPC-157 and TB-500 year-round address this imbalance by keeping connective tissue regeneration pace with muscle adaptation.

This is why BPC-157 and TB-500 run continuously in this protocol — not in cycles. They are structural maintenance compounds, not performance enhancers.

Peak Phase Compounds

MGF (Mechano Growth Factor) and IGF-1 LR3 are restricted to the competition prep phase — typically a 12-week window before competition. MGF promotes muscle satellite cell activation and new fibre formation. IGF-1 LR3 amplifies the anabolic response to training throughout the body. Both are potent anabolic peptides with significant performance-enhancing potential.

WADA status: all compounds in this protocol are prohibited under the WADA prohibited list. This protocol is not appropriate for any athlete competing in drug-tested competition.

Blood Work

Given the anabolic compound use, quarterly comprehensive panels are required: IGF-1, liver panel, lipids, full blood count, and cardiac markers. IGF-1 should not exceed 400 ng/mL — at this level, risk of adverse effects including acromegalic effects begins to increase. Liver and cardiac monitoring is essential during IGF-1 LR3 use.
